“Harvest for Children”

Our organization exists to provide guidance and support to our youths in Jamaica.

We are focused on implementing changes toward the development of children - which will improve how functional we are as a society.

VISION STATEMENT

Becoming one of Jamaica’s most recognized and impactful communities towards the development of youths.

ABOUT OUR CHIEF

Alisha Thorpe is a compassionate, talented, and resilient young woman who has been paving her way as a beauty model and youth advocate.

Born and raised in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

She is passionate about using her social media platforms to inspire her community by encouraging them to "create their own reality." She aims to use her platform to help young children and adults with career, self, and community development. She feels a great sense of responsibility to guide and support her 7 younger siblings along with others.

Due to her lack of a female mentor as a child, she aims to give others the opportunities and companionship she did not receive.

“be brave ENOUGH to go after the dream that scares you.”

-A.Thorpe

Alisha has volunteered to be the lead actress in a silent film called “Sisters” which focused on the loss of a feminine relationship.

She has read to children for Read Across Jamaica Day and has been a brand ambassador for Safe Spot JA which is a mental health hotline for young children and adults.

For a young woman, Alisha has always had the mindset of an optimistic and caring leader. So it comes as no surprise that she has big plans for herself and great potential for fulfilling her duty.

What are your five-year goals?

”In five years I will be 25 years old. I see myself being a successful entrepreneur, public speaker/philanthropist, a wife, a mother and an inspiration to youths both locally and globally. Traveling the world and exploring other cultures while educating others about the beautiful culture of Jamaica. This will be a great way of putting my Tourism degree to good use.”
